    The Chicago blunder

Post by Ryan on Sun Sep 18, 2011 8:42 am

I think NASCAR is making a mistake this week by starting the race at 2PM. I think their logic is they want us to get hooked into a football game first then change the channel at 2PM so we can watch the race.

I think NASCAR should be consistent and stick with the 1PM start time or even move it up to a start time of noon. I think this race should've actually been a night race again.

I Agree starting the race after football starts is not going to have casual fans switching chanels if anything it is going to have fans only checking in to the race and watching only long enough to see the leaderboard run through.

The most recent Chicago news is that their moving up the start time by about 20 minutes because of potential rain. They should've just stuck with 1PM.
